Modesto Molina charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Molina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. William Troncoso scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piero Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Kalatakaya F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Batistuta came free, but Daniel Vaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. William Troncoso hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Américo Díaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piero Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piero Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Molina went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santio Abadie in the 32nd minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Piero Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Canton hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Daniel Vaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Batistuta in the 38th minute of play. After 39 minutes of play, Kalatakaya F.C.'s Salvadore Abaunza made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piero Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Taltum FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kalatakaya F.C. were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabi Batistuta was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santio Abadie came free, but Piero Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandez Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Piero Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goalkeeper Piero Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvadore Abaunza. Taltum FC's Piero Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Díaz in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Rodas Valdivieso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gonzalo Canton hit a great ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Salvadore Abaunza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taltum FC's Piero Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Salvadore Abaunza put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Piero Kahn. Salvadore Abaunza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Piero Kahn made a huge save. Piero Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvadore Abaunza in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvadore Abaunza got free with Piero Kahn in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Taltum FC's Yago Polanco in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Kalatakaya F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
