GUAYACO's supporters rose to their feet, but Caicedo Berrondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigore Proca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Caicedo Berrondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Grigore Proca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rex Ellis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
