An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvadore Abaunza in the 10th minute of play forced Toqui Fc's goalkeeper Victorio Fontaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Toqui Fc booed when Kalatakaya F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Rexino Botero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Vaca skillfully saved the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Toqui Fc reached it. 47 minutes into the match, Salvadore Abaunza notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Toqui Fc's Victorio Fontaner. Victorio Fontaner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
