Marco Evangelista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Valverde in the 14th minute of play. Marco Evangelista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvadore Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvadore Abaunza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Abascal's late challenge caught a Vampiros Aztecas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vampiros Aztecas reached it. In the 93rd minute Teo Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Vaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Kalatakaya F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vampiros Aztecas.
