The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hernández Ermua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thiago Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute Navarro Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Juarros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chuquisaca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jayvier Abadia in the 11th minute. Hugo Juarros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Abancens in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Herena Abecia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hugo Juarros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Herena Abecia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Juarros. Azul Y Plomo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Herena Abecia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hugo Juarros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herena Abecia in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Azul Y Plomo got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Feliz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herena Abecia in the 33rd minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Hugo Juarros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Juarros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Navarro Abancens in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Gøl to make the kick off. After 62 played minutes Azul Y Plomo got a freekick which was hit by Martinez Pelaci. Hernández Ermua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Chuquisaca's Fraco Abel got a free kick in the 68th minute. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Chuquisaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fraco Abel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Thiago Gøl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Lisandro Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikolas Abaunza got free with Hugo Juarros in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Hugo Juarros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 88 minutes Azul Y Plomo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jayvier Abadia who took care of the corner kick. 90 minutes into the game, Martinez Pelaci threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chuquisaca's Shepherd Abaurre quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hugo Juarros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikolas Abaunza in the 91st minute. Hugo Juarros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herena Abecia in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the game, Mikolas Abaunza landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 94th match minute, Azul Y Plomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Lugano to maneuver through the defense. Chuquisaca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
