Edgardo Fuica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Aguilera. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edgardo Fuica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Nichols in the 11th minute of play. Reed Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zernin Mendivil, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Charlton McDonough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vellito Liebana to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Aguilera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reed Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Aguilera in the 35th minute of the match. ForestFire's Charlton McDonough got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnathan Cardenas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Edgardo Fuica made a huge save. Reed Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Aguilera, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute, Stan Sanford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlton McDonough was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Sebastiano Cañon got a free kick in the 57th minute. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ made a substitution. Matthew Murguia replaced Zernin Mendivil. The supporters of ForestFire booed when ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastiano Cañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Charlton McDonough. 66 minutes into the match, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Cardenas came free, but Edgardo Fuica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Xavion Zeppeli fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s protests and gave Xavion Zeppeli a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ got a freekick which was hit by Xavion Zeppeli. Urti Asturiano charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urti Asturiano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgardo Fuica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlton McDonough in the 84th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Eloi Lantaron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Matthew Murguia came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Murguia couldn't finish the play. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after ForestFire's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urti Asturiano took the corner. In the 96th minute, Matthew Murguia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ForestFire players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
