The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Ademir Maciel in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Thomas Reeves. Guilherme Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Boonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beşir Sehrud in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Beşir Sehrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Romeo Raulo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Joestar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Swift GTi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vance Tidwell was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Miami Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vance Tidwell to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Swift GTi's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beşir Sehrud in the 28th minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Swift GTi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 29th minute. It was a well-played corner which Stefanos Karamanolis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 32nd minute, Beşir Sehrud got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Smiley got free with Jonathan Joestar in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Beşir Sehrud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Swift GTi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Boonen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Raulo in the 51st minute of play forced Swift GTi's goalkeeper Jonathan Joestar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Beşir Sehrud came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Ervin DeJesus was substituted for Shane Smiley. In the 64th minute, Ademir Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Keenan Worthington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Joestar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Swift GTi's Jonathan Joestar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Worthington in the 70th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Beşir Sehrud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th match minute, Swift GTi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beşir Sehrud to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beşir Sehrud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Miami Futbol Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was slow to take the kick. During this time Swift GTi's players had a chance to rest. In the 92nd minute Beşir Sehrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Boonen took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Veiga. Guilherme Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 96 minutes into the game, Beşir Sehrud recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Guilherme Veiga. Beşir Sehrud showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Swift GTi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
