After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Hugo Holflod got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Tupper came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Romeo Raulo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Tupper in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Veiga saved Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting behind. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga got control of the ball when Raimundo Tupper tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yan Zhi Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Racing Miami Futbol Club's Phil Vine to fire away a dangerous shot which Ilkka Markkula despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportes Santa Cruz's zone, Romeo Raulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilkka Markkula came out of the goal and Romeo Raulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Club Deportes Santa Cruz made a substitution. Trayko Gradinarski replaced Podador Raheiro. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Edström to strike the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Toper in the 53rd minute of play. Ilkka Markkula made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Shane Smiley sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Elia made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Yan Zhi Chuan however managed to control. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Zhi Chuan in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Juan Estevan Hamdorf got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Keenan Worthington replaced Romeo Raulo. Juan Estevan Hamdorf hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ty Boyce helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ty Boyce to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Ilkka Markkula managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Racing Miami Futbol Club's Keenan Worthington fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
