In the 3rd minute, MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Estavan Virto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Estavan Virto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskild Sneftrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MILLONARIOS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mon Ibaute to maneuver through the defense. Videl Mauriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xayvion Penas in the 23rd minute of play. Leon Ciriaca's late challenge caught a MILLONARIOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Ciriaca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 31st minute Christian Bale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Mauriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Corredor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estavan Virto having to make a save. Roberto Quicedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Bale took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Videl Mauriz. Videl Mauriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Bale came free, but Videl Mauriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Corredor got free with Estavan Virto in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Estavan Virto made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Juan Corredor sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Alberto Yepes didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eskild Sneftrup was the one to do the kick off. 62 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Corredor came free, but Estavan Virto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Alberto Yepes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 87th minute of the match, Christian Bale tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Videl Mauriz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 89 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Mikolas Zarzuelo. Estavan Virto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud van Nistelrooij, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estavan Virto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Corredor, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Alberino Riesco got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Eskild Sneftrup made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Estavan Virto was left in no man's land by his defense there! MILLONARIOS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
