In the 10th minute, Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Gmoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. When James Joyner fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave James Joyner a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Racing Miami Futbol Club getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. James Joyner hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 陆西迅 got free with Guilherme Veiga in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Romeo Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Romeo Raulo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Duardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Vancouver Reds's Guilherme Veiga threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrigo Ferdinand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Racing Miami Futbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Macnelly Torres took the corner. The corner ended in Róbson Queirós almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga did a great save. 30 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ferdinand came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If 陆西迅 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Guilherme Veiga got control of the ball when Macnelly Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Raulo was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Macnelly Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Görkem Büyükada replaced 陆西迅. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres got a free kick in the 65th minute. Róbson Queirós hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Maicon Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maicon Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guilherme Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Görkem Büyükada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vancouver Reds's 严霆梁 got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Olin Munster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 minutes Vancouver Reds's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was James Joyner who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Racing Miami Futbol Club's corner James Joyner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Duardo quite easily take care of the ball. Vancouver Reds's 严霆梁 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ty Boyce in the 78 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Ty Boyce got a free kick in the 79th minute. Omar Duardo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Keenan Worthington sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keenan Worthington in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Duardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Görkem Büyükada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Veiga having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Görkem Büyükada in the 92nd minute of play forced Racing Miami Futbol Club's goalkeeper Guilherme Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Many of Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Racing Miami Futbol Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Vancouver Reds were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
