But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ni Xiong Bin couldn't finish the play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Ni Xiong Bin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ríver Late's Geovani de Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ni Xiong Bin made a kick off. Ruiz Ballet hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match.
