Leonides Trarigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Estavan Virto made a huge save. If Ursino Brunet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the game, Nacional's Ursino Brunet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Estavan Virto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Ursino Brunet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Estavan Virto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christian Bale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juaneizu Merida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When Christian Bale came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Bale couldn't finish the play. Estavan Virto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ursino Brunet, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Ursino Brunet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Playa Malvín's Estavan Virto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ursino Brunet in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Felipe Carballo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional and the Playa Malvín players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uhin Angostina kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Thor Thor made the kick off in the second half. Nacional's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Christian Bale 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Vasco Teijelo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ursino Brunet scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Estavan Virto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nacional's Juaneizu Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Bale in the 65th minute of play. Ursino Brunet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bale in the 77th minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nacional booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uhin Angostina didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ursino Brunet in the 81st minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Estavan Virto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ursino Brunet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
