After taking down the ball on Vancouver Reds's corner Róbson Queirós fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juaneizu Merida quite easily take care of the ball. Ursino Brunet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Görkem Büyükada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Juaneizu Merida made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Vancouver Reds's zone, Ursino Brunet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Duardo came out of the goal and Ursino Brunet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Mateo Antoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maxwell Eddy came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Vancouver Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxwell Eddy couldn't finish the play. Juaneizu Merida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Eddy in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Vancouver Reds's Görkem Büyükada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juaneizu Merida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
