Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Disco Inferno FC's Edwards Feutrill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwards Feutrill in the 4th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Jesse Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Disco Inferno FC's zone, Adam Burmeister stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jamese Gissane came out of the goal and Adam Burmeister tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 played minutes Disco Inferno FC got a freekick which was hit by Bryson Deal. Adam Burmeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamese Gissane having to interfere. In the 11th minute Bradley Gorham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesse Angell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Gunn in the 12th minute of the match. Adam Burmeister kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Tommy Gunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesse Angell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwards Feutrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bryson Deal scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesse Angell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute of the game Davey Durbridge made a throw-in which Bruce Howarth played forward. When Myles Surman fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boroondara Milan's protests and gave Myles Surman a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Myles Surman. In the 28th minute, Bradley Gorham made a precise shot to the right of Jesse Angell. Boroondara Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Davey Durbridge with Bruce Howarth as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Boroondara Milan's Adam Burmeister got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Edwards Feutrill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Angell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davey Durbridge made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bruce Howarth immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwards Feutrill in the 45th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Jesse Angell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradley Gorham kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Burmeister stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Tommy Gunn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell got control of the ball when Edwards Feutrill tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boroondara Milan's Dugald Weeks quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Davey Durbridge, made in the 59th minute of the game. If Dugald Weeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, Disco Inferno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruce Howarth to maneuver through the defense. Jamese Gissane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Burmeister, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Boroondara Milan got a corner. Disco Inferno FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Loyd Eversden ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dugald Weeks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boroondara Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Dugald Weeks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamese Gissane breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Adolfo Bundy hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Bradley Gorham made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Boroondara Milan's Jesse Angell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boroondara Milan's attentive Dugald Weeks managed to snatch the ball when Davey Durbridge made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Myles Surman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Burmeister in the 83rd minute of play forced Disco Inferno FC's goalkeeper Jamese Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Bradley Gorham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jesse Angell. The goal made the score 0-5. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Adam Burmeister hit a great ball. Jesse Angell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Gorham, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Adam Burmeister charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Burmeister the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Boroondara Milan getting a freekick after 92 minutes play.
