With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nagrand's Didi Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Nagrand from getting a goal against them. In the 18th match minute, the sword of Damocles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 楚常梁 to maneuver through the defense. If Amir Ramachandran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Azly Seng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagrand's supporters rose to their feet, but Azly Seng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 庄霖斌 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 吕宇常 kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Joel Teo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 庄霖斌. the sword of Damocles's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 30 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Amir Ramachandran. A collision led to Nagrand getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Joel Teo hit a great ball. Didi Gonçalves made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when 楚常梁 sent off a good shot on target. Amir Ramachandran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 庄霖斌 having to make a save. After 39 played minutes the sword of Damocles got a freekick which was hit by Bo Runeberg. After 41 minutes of play, Nagrand's Azly Seng made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 庄霖斌 was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Azly Seng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 庄霖斌 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 46 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Anil Nagasaki. With an all-out effort, the sword of Damocles's Didi Gonçalves threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 庄霆岚, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st play minute Joel Teo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 庄霖斌. 1-4. In the 54th match minute, Nagrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azly Hsi to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match 楚常梁 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Didi Gonçalves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. the sword of Damocles's 庄霖斌 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azly Seng in the 57th minute of play. After 60th play minutes Joel Teo shot 1-5, a short shot which went by 庄霖斌 and just under the crossbar into goal. 庄霖斌 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azly Seng in the 63rd minute of the match. 庄霖斌 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azly Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 75th match minute, Nagrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amir Ramachandran to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in the sword of Damocles's zone, Ron Laycock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 庄霖斌 came out of the goal and Ron Laycock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amir Ramachandran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 庄霖斌 having to interfere. 庄霖斌 made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Joel Teo sent off a good shot on target. The the sword of Damocles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nagrand were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
