The referee ignored Cisco Birlik FC's protests and gave Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cisco Birlik FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu hit a great ball. Ahmet Baki Uzsoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Semi Onguner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cisco Birlik FC's Semi Onguner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cisco Birlik FC from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu came free, but Hatemi Cire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, istanbulls's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Bülent Palabıyık came free, but Hatemi Cire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nafiz Özaydın's late challenge caught a Cisco Birlik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nafiz Özaydın helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes istanbulls got a freekick which was hit by Nafiz Özaydın. Hatemi Cire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu in the 25th minute of play. Hatemi Cire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ege Acunman, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cisco Birlik FC's zone, Doğuş Özkaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semi Onguner came out of the goal and Doğuş Özkaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's Battal Cüneyt Zahir got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Cisco Birlik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy came free, but Semi Onguner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hatemi Cire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Doğuş Özkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Cisco Birlik FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fatih Maradona to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Fatih Maradona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Semi Onguner. Cisco Birlik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fatih Maradona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 55 minutes into the game, Doğuş Özkaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Semi Onguner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When istanbulls's Ahmet Baki Uzsoy in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Cisco Birlik FC defense, Ahmet Baki Uzsoy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Semi Onguner. The Cisco Birlik FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Semi Onguner should have stopped the shot. After 67 minutes of play, Cisco Birlik FC's Çetin Akmeşe made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hatemi Cire was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fatih Maradona in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Semi Onguner saved Cisco Birlik FC from getting behind. After 71 minutes of play, istanbulls's Fatih Maradona made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Semi Onguner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 5-2 became the score in the 76th minute when Haydar Özdinç elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Cisco Birlik FC got a freekick which was hit by Mutlu Koçhan. After 79 played minutes, istanbulls's Yavuz Selim Yücelay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Semi Onguner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in istanbulls reached it. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Ahmet Baki Uzsoy sped through Cisco Birlik FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Semi Onguner. Semi Onguner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fatih Maradona went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 87 minutes, Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cisco Birlik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ecevit Hacıahmetoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doğuş Özkaya struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Semi Onguner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for istanbulls. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. istanbulls fully deserved thier win.
