Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Nykvarn's Kaká Fenomeno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Daly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Wallin to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Alebäck in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Kinell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Alebäck in the 13th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Henry Alebäck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Kinell was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Hammarström. Henry Alebäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Michel Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nykvarn defense, Jan Ekenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Kinell. The Nykvarn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Kinell should have stopped the shot. Michel Kinell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Ekenberg in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Kaká Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Daly. Casper Kleen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Hampus Hammarström sent off a good shot on target. Michel Kinell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Alebäck in the 40th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Wallin.

Jan Ekenberg hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 53rd match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. Casper Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Fenomeno went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mean Machine's Gösta Kämpe was substituted for Rune Åhman. In the 60th minute John Daly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Jan Ekenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rune Anselius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Daly, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Daly in the 68th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Casper Kleen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Kleen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Persson in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mean Machine's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kaká Fenomeno was slow to take the kick. During this time Nykvarn's players had a chance to rest. Michel Kinell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Anselius in the 74th minute. Michel Kinell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Alebäck's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Stig-Arne Wallin charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Arne Wallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Wallin. In the 85thth minute of the game Henry Alebäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nykvarn's Michel Kinell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
