Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Holger Lundin kicked off to start the match. When Sten Skark fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrlands Athen's protests and gave Sten Skark a yellow card for diving instead. Sten Skark kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Norrlands Athen's Elias Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Dahlberg in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Alefors to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Lundin in the 6th minute of play forced Gudhem's goalkeeper Sverker Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Gudhem's goalkeeper Sverker Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sten Skark. In the 9th minute, Sten Skark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 16th minute, Rickard Andreasson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sverker Lindgren. The goal made the score 2-0. A hard shot 19 in the game by Sten Skark from a close distance when the talented Sverker Lindgren managed to make a qualified save. Gudhem's players were relieved. Sverker Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Rickard Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. Norrlands Athen's Elias Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Lagerberg in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren got control of the ball when Sten Skark tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sten Skark received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sverker Lindgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Sten Skark slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute, Sten Skark made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Lindgren. Gudhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Rickard Andreassons short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Sverker Lindgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sten Skark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 53rd match minute, Gudhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Hultin to maneuver through the defense. Birger Rydelius made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Herbert Lagerberg however managed to control. Norrlands Athen's Elias Söderman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. Rickard Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Lindgren having to interfere. Gudhem's Sverker Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Lundin in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Sten Skark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Lindgren having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Dahlberg got free with Elias Söderman in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Dahlberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Elias Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
