Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dan Wassenius got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Stig Aronsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surahammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig Aronsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mårten Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Österlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Surahammar defense, Jonathan Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikael Lundström. The Surahammar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikael Lundström should have stopped the shot. Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvald Österlund in the 11th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Oakcroft Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Dan Wassenius. Surahammar's Nils-Emil Falck got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Wassenius's late challenge caught a Surahammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Wassenius helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Wassenius to maneuver through the defense. Surahammar's Mikael Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Asmundsson in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Mattias Drewitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Asmundsson's late challenge caught a Surahammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Asmundsson helped the player get up and apologised. Stefan Asmundsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mikael Lundström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Svensson in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Stefan Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Svensson got free with Mikael Lundström in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Stefan Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Surahammar's Mikael Lundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Surahammar from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Stefan Asmundsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mikael Lundström. The goal made the score 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Aronsson made a kick off. Surahammar's Mikael Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Wassenius in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute Stefan Asmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Zander's late challenge caught a Surahammar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Zander helped the player get up and apologised. Surahammar's Stig Aronsson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mårten Nordström but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Asmundsson in the 67th minute of play forced Surahammar's goalkeeper Mikael Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Drewitz charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattias Drewitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mattias Drewitz hit a great ball. Eskil Ekrot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mikael Lundström. Surahammar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Surahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Wassenius came free, but Mikael Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Oakcroft Thrashers's Jonathan Svensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Lundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 78 minutes into the match, Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Mårten Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erland Vikström. A collision led to Surahammar getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ivar Östman hit a great ball. Mikael Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Asmundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Oakcroft Thrashers's Mårten Nordström got control of the ball when Nils-Emil Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line.
