Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Per Vennerberg made the kick off which started today's match. Åke Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Vennerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Åke Björling came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Blomstermåla BK's Per Vennerberg. But to his dismay, Per Vennerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bengt-Arne Martinsson's late challenge caught a Motala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Arne Martinsson hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Alfred Lövgren made a precise shot to the right of Åke Björling. Motala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Motala's Åke Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Vennerberg in the 17th minute of play. Dennis Eskilsson charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Eskilsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blomstermåla BK's Dennis Eskilsson got a free kick in the 19th minute. Per Vennerberg scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Björling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per Vennerberg took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Björling. Åke Björling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 28 minutes into the game, Blomstermåla BK's Alfred Lövgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Åke Björling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Per Vennerberg took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Björling. Åke Björling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After 39 minutes of play, Blomstermåla BK's Per Vennerberg made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Björling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åke Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Hääger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Anton Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Motala's goal looked a bit too open when Per Vennerberg came free, but Åke Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Åke Björling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Vennerberg in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jack Eklund was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match, Jörgen Bergfeldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Åke Björling was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Blomstermåla BK's Per Vennerberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Åke Björling. That made the score 0-9 after 60 minutes of play. When Reine Wallander came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Motala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reine Wallander couldn't finish the play. Åke Björling was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Per Vennerberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Per Vennerberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Olov Hääger took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Åke Björling. Åke Björling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. Åke Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Vennerberg in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Motala's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Lövgren came free, but Åke Björling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Blomstermåla BK's Per Vennerberg made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
