Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mats Brodin kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Ernst Burman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Börge Forss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Börge Forss came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården United's Bertil Lindholm. But to his dismay, Bertil Lindholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ernst Burman took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börge Forss. Börge Forss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 15th minute, Sonny Njurenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Börge Forss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Axelsson in the 19th minute of play forced Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börge Forss came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården United's Bertil Lindholm. But to his dismay, Bertil Lindholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Njurenius in the 25th minute of play forced Himna FF's goalkeeper Börge Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Sonny Njurenius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Börge Forss. Himna FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sonny Njurenius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When Djurgården United's Sonny Njurenius in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Himna FF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd match minute, Djurgården United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Burman to maneuver through the defense. Sonny Njurenius scored 0-8 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Forss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Börge Forss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Axel Dalström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 45th play minutes Ernst Burman shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Börge Forss and just under the crossbar into goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sonny Njurenius to make the kick off. Börge Forss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sonny Njurenius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 53 minute of play. With a little luck, Himna FF's Börge Forss got control of the ball when Ernst Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Bertil Lindholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djurgården United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Sonny Njurenius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Forss. That made the score 0-12 in the 63 minute of play. When Ernst Burman came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Djurgården United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Burman couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Djurgården United's Jan-Ove Axelsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-15. The Djurgården United fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Djurgården United's Bertil Lindholm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-16 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Axelsson got free with Börge Forss in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Börge Forss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Njurenius in the 88th minute of play. Bertil Lindholm scored 0-17 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börge Forss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Börge Forss came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården United's Sonny Njurenius. But to his dismay, Sonny Njurenius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. Djurgården United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
