Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hans Norberg got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torsten Petersson. Lars Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Manfred Valström, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Lövkvist. Mattias Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Hägg in the 14th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Björn Blomkvist. Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Karlsborg from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Kilman. Lars Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Vitaliy Krylatov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Mattias Håkansson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mattias Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Hägg, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Ove Lövkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Hägg in the 42nd minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Mattias Håkansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Vitaliy Krylatov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mattias Håkansson. Vitaliy Krylatov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joachim Hägg to strike the kick off in the second half. Mattias Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Krylatov in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, one of Karlsborg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 63 minutes, Torsten Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Göteborg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Björn Blomkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Blomkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Blomkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy Krylatov in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Hans Norberg. If Torsten Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joachim Hägg scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Håkansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Mattias Kilman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Håkansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Hägg took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Håkansson. Mattias Håkansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 96thth minute of the game Joachim Hägg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 98th minute, Torsten Petersson made a precise shot to the right of Mattias Håkansson. Karlsborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the IFK Göteborg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
