An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitaliy Krylatov in the 29th minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Kurt Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of IFK Göteborg booed when Rätan IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Vallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Dorlea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jens-Ove Vallander. Kurt Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Hägg in the 56th minute of the match. Rätan IF's Kurt Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Hägg in the 57th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Ian Alegren made a precise shot to the right of Florin Dorlea. IFK Göteborg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rätan IF's Kurt Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Rätan IF from getting a goal against them. Rätan IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jens-Ove Lindkvist 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 85th minute Joachim Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over IFK Göteborg could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rätan IF throughout the match.
