Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Hedling made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 played minutes The Skates got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Stenkvist. A collision led to Rätan IF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Per-Åke Sandberg hit a great ball. Kurt Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Hedling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Rätan IF's Kurt Andreasson got control of the ball when Christian Hedling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harry Larsson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Kurt Andreasson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Skates. Kurt Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Hedling in the 38th minute of play. Douglas Stenkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kurt Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kurt Andreasson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Hedling in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Harry Larsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Kåre Sjögren made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes The Skates got a freekick which was hit by Claes Wennersten. If Christian Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Alegren kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Douglas Stenkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Rätan IF's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Hedling came free, but Kurt Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristoffer Snäll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jens-Ola Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Harry Larsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Skates's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rätan IF the free kick. Harry Larsson hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Rätan IF were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over The Skates's much stronger midfield.
