After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Christopher Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Frogos's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sverker Sjöö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Hamnberg came free, but Sverker Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Odeen charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Odeen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Blackjacks getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rune Odeen hit a great ball. Sverker Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Gualtieri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverker Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Frank Gualtieri took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sverker Sjöö. Sverker Sjöö dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Blackjacks's Sverker Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Hamnberg in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Frank Gualtieri made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Sjöö. Blackjacks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sverker Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boschung Bus, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Stig-Arne Dalström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. Stig-Arne Dalström hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, Los Frogos's Frank Gualtieri made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Sjöö was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Folke Hamnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Frank Gualtieri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Los Frogos booed when Blackjacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Odeen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes, Los Frogos's Torbjörn Springfält shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sverker Sjöö came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Frogos reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Sören Stolpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sverker Nyberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sören Stolpe ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the match, Blackjacks's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Hamnberg came free, but Sverker Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Tingberg charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Björn Tingberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Björn Tingberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bengt Nordgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Björn Tingberg kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Los Frogos's Sverker Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Stolpe in the 73rd minute of play. Marcus Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sverker Nyberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Blackjacks's Sverker Sjöö got control of the ball when Christopher Mattsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Frogos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
