Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Flock of Eagles's Fred Anselius started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred Anselius struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Sven-Arne Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flock of Eagles. Sven-Arne Brodin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Anselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Timmy Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flock of Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes Borussia Herrhagen got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Ekström. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Fred Anselius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Klint got free with Karl Bock in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Egon Flinck came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Flock of Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Flinck couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fred Anselius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flock of Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Fred Anselius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Brodin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egon Flinck in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Brodin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl Bock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Granberg in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Fransson in the 44th minute of play forced Borussia Herrhagen's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th match minute, Borussia Herrhagen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Boklund to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Åke Granberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Timmy Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fred Anselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Flock of Eagles getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Anders Örtendahl hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Flock of Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Frank to maneuver through the defense. Åke Granberg charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Granberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Borussia Herrhagen got a freekick which was hit by Åke Granberg. Timmy Fransson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Sven-Arne Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flock of Eagles. Flock of Eagles's Fred Anselius got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timmy Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. Karl-Michael Ekström's late challenge caught a Flock of Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Michael Ekström helped the player get up and apologised. Timmy Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sven-Arne Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Ove Haglund hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Borussia Herrhagen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Fred Anselius scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Arne Brodin, making the score, 0-4.
