Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan-Ove Fransson took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Åke Granberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anders Beckeman. Åke Granberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Linus Lindblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Borussia Herrhagen's Kenneth Grönberg got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Roland Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jan-Ove Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Övertorneå RK's Linus Lindblom. But to his dismay, Linus Lindblom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Jan-Ove Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's Jan-Ove Fransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Arne Brodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's Roland Hedman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Arne Brodin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Elliott Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Arne Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Fransson in the 38th minute of play. Sven-Arne Brodin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Lindblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jan-Ove Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Brodin having to interfere. Jan-Ove Fransson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Övertorneå RK. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Åke Granberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Borussia Herrhagen getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Christer Boklund hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sven-Arne Brodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Herrhagen's zone, Jan-Ove Fransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Fransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Termander in the 66th minute of play forced Borussia Herrhagen's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Jan-Ove Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Hedman got free with Sven-Arne Brodin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Karl-Michael Ekström fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borussia Herrhagen's protests and gave Karl-Michael Ekström a yellow card for diving instead. Karl-Michael Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Elliott Termander recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Arne Brodin. With his leg Sven-Arne Brodin managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Övertorneå RK's Jan-Ove Fransson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Roland Hedman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Övertorneå RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Hedman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Brodin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Herrhagen's zone, Elliott Termander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Brodin came out of the goal and Elliott Termander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Herbert Hökqvist from long distance, 95 minutes into the match, got Sven-Arne Brodin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sven-Arne Brodin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roland Hedman in the 97th minute.
