With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Wennersten in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erling Gernberg saved Björklinge BK from getting behind. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sören Wennersten sped through Björklinge BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erling Gernberg. Andreas Alm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Gernberg having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Andreas Alm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Erling Gernberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Ivan Turina successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Olof Stolpe kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Björklinge BK's Per-Arne Hansson got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olof Stolpe during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Kent Melander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erling Gernberg. That made the score 0-5 in the 57 minute of play. Andreas Alm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Erling Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliver Lindqvist's late challenge caught a Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Lindqvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Björklinge BK's Oliver Lindqvist got a free kick in the 61st minute. Erling Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Melander in the 64th minute of play. Timmy Lindmark charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timmy Lindmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Timmy Lindmark hit a great ball. Kent Melander might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erling Gernberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Melander ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Björklinge BK's Olof Stolpe got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Konrad Sundin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ivan Turina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Hansson in the 76th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell Vibjörnsson during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK's Stig-Åke Ennegren got a free kick in the 81st minute. The Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
