The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Sven-Oskar Låsberg put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jan Olenberg. Karl-Oskar Alberg charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Oskar Alberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Stadsbornas IF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Alberg. Ulf Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Stadsbornas IF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Björn Kilström hit a great ball. In the 23rd play minute Jonas Bergdal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Olenberg. 3-0. Stadsbornas IF's Jan Olenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Låsberg in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stadsbornas IF's Arne Rönn got a free kick in the 26th minute. Stadsbornas IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Joacim Låsberg scored to the left of an out of position Jan Olenberg, making the score, 4-0. A collision led to Stadsbornas IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Joachim Jönsätt hit a great ball. With a little luck, Stadsbornas IF's Jan Olenberg got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Låsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ulf Andreasson took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Jan Olenberg to make any attempt to save it. Jan Olenberg made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ulf Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. Roy Rönn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 minutes, Joacim Låsberg made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stadsbornas IF's Jan Olenberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Bergdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jan Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stadsbornas IF's Jan Olenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Stadsbornas IF from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Oskar Låsberg to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Låsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jan Olenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roy Rönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jan Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the match, Joachim Jönsätt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Folke Hybbert saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jan Olenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Andreasson in the 63rd minute of the match. Jan Olenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Oskar Låsberg's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Jan Olenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Låsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Joachim Jönsätt kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Låsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th match minute, Stadsbornas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaj Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Stadsbornas IF defense, Jonas Bergdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Olenberg. The Stadsbornas IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Olenberg should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Stadsbornas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Boberg to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Andreasson struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jan Olenberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BK Gubbhöft. A collision led to Stadsbornas IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anthon Fastesson hit a great ball. Jan Olenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Bergdal in the 90th minute of the match. Jan Olenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Bergdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Olenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Bergdal in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Oskar Låsberg in the 93rd minute of play forced Stadsbornas IF's goalkeeper Jan Olenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th match minute, Stadsbornas IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Jönsätt to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Joacim Låsberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Olenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.
