Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ture Strömberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Mattias Pihlgren managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Warberg FC's Ture Strömberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ture Strömbergs short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Mattias Pihlgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 11th match minute, Oldham Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Linquist to maneuver through the defense. Ture Strömberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Mattias Pihlgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jan Gulliksson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to Warberg FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Göran Ekeberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Oldham Athletic's Jimmy Linquist got a free kick in the 27th minute. Börje Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Pettersson in the 29th minute of play. Mattias Pihlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ture Strömberg in the 31st minute. Gunnar Österberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Oldham Athletic's Jan Gulliksson got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ture Strömberg in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's Adrian Pettersson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börje Magnusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Jonsson made a kick off. When Warberg FC's Ture Strömberg in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldham Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. Jimmy Linquist hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ture Strömberg in the 56th minute of play forced Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Mattias Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Ekeberg in the 57th minute of the match. Jan Gulliksson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Mattias Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Strömberg in the 59th minute of play. When Valentin Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Oldham Athletic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Jonsson couldn't finish the play. Mattias Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ture Strömberg in the 67th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ture Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Pihlgren was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Oldham Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Granström came free, but Mattias Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Oldham Athletic getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Oscar Bäcklin hit a great ball. Oscar Bäcklin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Mattias Pihlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ture Strömberg's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Ingvar Bollström took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Börje Magnusson. Börje Magnusson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The attack was good, but when Göran Ekeberg in the 94th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Oldham Athletic players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Warberg FC.
