Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Gnesta Oilers's Anders Bergqvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fred Lange, made in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 6th minute Felix Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakarias Hellbom scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th match minute, IFK Vinkel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Erik Askstedt to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per Lindkvist during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes IFK Vinkel got a freekick which was hit by Per Lindkvist. In the 19thth minute of the game Felix Mikaelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnesta Oilers's Gösta Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute IFK Vinkel were awarded a corner. Per Lindkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. The IFK Vinkel fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when IFK Vinkel's Felix Mikaelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Mikaelsson in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Bergqvist saved Gnesta Oilers from getting behind. 32 minutes in the game Sven-Åke Gadd did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jonas Smitt. If Jim Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute, Erik Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gösta Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Sten Walmarsson in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Gnesta Oilers's Anders Bergqvist. The audience was convinced that Jim Stephansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Bergqvist was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Edvin Norberg made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Gnesta Oilers's Rikard Östlund got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jan-Åke Rolfsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Anders Bergqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gnesta Oilers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Vinkel the free kick. The supporters of IFK Vinkel booed when Gnesta Oilers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Bålström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gösta Bergqvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 75th minute, Tomas Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gnesta Oilers getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Edvin Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Tobias Bålström made a precise shot to the right of Gösta Bergqvist. Gnesta Oilers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gösta Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Smitt in the 98th minute of play forced IFK Vinkel's goalkeeper Jens Hansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. IFK Vinkel walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
