The Med Gang FC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Med Gang FC's Sakarias Finnman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute, Eric Lundqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ture Nyman. The goal made the score 2-1. If Gilbert Lindman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Vase hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Sakarias Finnman in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ture Nyman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nils-Erik Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Lindman in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Gilbert Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Allbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Lundqvist in the 35th minute of play forced Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Arne Möllgren during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bora Bora's Sven-Arne Möllgren got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Timmy Flink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Tommy Vase was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bora Bora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Med Gang FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bora Bora's Tommy Vase got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th match minute, Med Gang FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Flink to maneuver through the defense. Jens Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Allbom having to interfere. When Sven-Arne Möllgren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Zuberoa Bubber's late challenge caught a Bora Bora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zuberoa Bubber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Zuberoa Bubber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Åke Lindberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Flink came free, but Ture Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Finnman in the 61st minute of play forced Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Finnman came free, but Ture Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ture Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Nils-Erik Allbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Lindberg in the 73rd minute of play. Ture Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timmy Flink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakarias Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Lundqvist in the 84th minute of play forced Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Lundqvist in the 90th minute of play forced Bora Bora's goalkeeper Ture Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ture Nyman came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Med Gang FC's Eric Lundqvist. But to his dismay, Eric Lundqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Durlabha Durling kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Med Gang FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
