Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredric Klint started the match with the kick off. Tommy Palm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Jarl Andreasson made a huge save. Gaspar Leheren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Ove Christoffersson's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Guldsmedshyttan IK's corner Christer Utter fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gaspar Leheren quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Ted Kellman got a free kick in the 13th minute. Karl-Ove Christoffersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Christer Utter's late challenge caught a BENA FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christer Utter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Utter to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Ove Christoffersson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Leheren saved BENA FK from getting behind. Jarl Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Lund in the 24th minute of play. Tommy Palm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Christoffersson in the 28th minute of play. With his leg Jarl Andreasson managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when BENA FK's Alf Lund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 30 minutes into the game, Bengt Felin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BENA FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guldsmedshyttan IK the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mats Berggren during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guldsmedshyttan IK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mats Berggren hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Lind to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the BENA FK defense, Karl-Ove Christoffersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Leheren. The BENA FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Leheren should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Christoffersson in the 42nd minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Gaspar Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Christer Utter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Leheren skillfully saved the ball. Jarl Andreasson was a little too slow when Alf Lund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Ove Christoffersson to make the kick off. Karl-Ove Christoffersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Leheren having to interfere. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Karl-Ove Christoffersson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 58th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren got control of the ball when Karl-Ove Christoffersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jarl Andreasson came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by BENA FK's Alf Lund. But to his dismay, Alf Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan IK booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Christoffersson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaspar Leheren, 2-3. Alf Lund charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Lund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Lund. In the 81st match minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Wallengren to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Ted Kellman. When Christer Utter came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Guldsmedshyttan IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Utter couldn't finish the play. Mats Berggren hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
