The supporters of Pihl United booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Kaxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tommy Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pihl United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Sundberg couldn't finish the play. Mats Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Folke Örnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Waselewicz took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mats Sundberg. Mats Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Vykans Vikingar's Mats Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kim Kruse hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Pihl United's Mats Sundberg threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ingvar Sjögren made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Enrique Ferreira notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Mats Sundberg. Mats Sundberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Ferreira came free, but Mats Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pihl United's supporters rose to their feet, but Luc Fontaine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mats Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gottfrid Haström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Sjögren in the 71st minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alexander Milošević in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mats Sundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Daniel Waselewicz scored 8-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Sundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Mats Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 92nd minute of play. Mats Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Sundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Enrique Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mats Sundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
