When Hjalmar Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekedalen SK's protests and gave Hjalmar Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. Hjalmar Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Henriksson in the 16th minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Lucas Hendrix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but John Wahlnäs made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Hagberg in the 24th minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Lucas Hendrix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Hendrix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Törnqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Verner Hansson took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Hendrix. After 56 minutes of play FF Små Gröna Män's Kjell Törnqvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to FF Små Gröna Män getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kjell Törnqvist hit a great ball. Svante Blom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucas Hendrix. Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucas Hendrix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arvid Henriksson in the 78th minute. John Wahlnäs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Nyman in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of FF Små Gröna Män booed when Ekedalen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Rune Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Hendrix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oscar Bålström. In the 87th match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Heggert to maneuver through the defense. If Verner Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arvid Henriksson's late challenge caught a Ekedalen SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvid Henriksson helped the player get up and apologised. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FF Små Gröna Män walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
