Magnus Karlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörgen Gummeson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee showed Otto Drake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lennart Svanström took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Dalberg. Adrian Dalberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Nordmark got free with Adrian Dalberg in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Adrian Dalberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Svanström. Jörgen Gummeson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.
