In the 4thth minute of the game Andreas Hult who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Thomas Runeberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute Jon Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute Kjell Wennerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Wennerberg came free, but Thomas Runeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Ingvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Lundqvist in the 13th minute of the match. Georg Ingvall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Lundqvist in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Küdüs in the 29th minute of play forced Kattvik kings's goalkeeper Georg Ingvall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Thomas Runeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Damm in the 30th minute of play. Georg Ingvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Lundqvist in the 31st minute of play. Mohamed Küdüs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Georg Ingvall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a corner. Kattvik kings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Flynn Downes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Flynn Downes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Georg Ingvall in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mohamed Küdüs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Georg Ingvall made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Andreas Hult got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingemar Ahlkvist's late challenge caught a Kattvik kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Ahlkvist helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Kattvik kings's Georg Ingvall got control of the ball when Christian Lundqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Jon Lagerberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Thomas Runeberg. Thomas Runeberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Lundqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 75th minute, Sebastian Dusett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Kattvik kings's Jon Lagerberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute Andreas Hult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Runeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Kattvik kings were awarded a corner. Andreas Hult went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kattvik kings's Andreas Hult to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Runeberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86th minute, Jonas Lindqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kattvik kings had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
