MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save MAFFIAN from getting a goal against them. Frank Fortune hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Wassberg in the 9th minute of play forced FC Hackspett U21's goalkeeper Tony Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Dahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Giménez in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ove Håning in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Dahlbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ove Håning in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. When Gunde Svan fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave Gunde Svan a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Jan-Ove Håning managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hackspett U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Håning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ove Håning in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 33rd minute Alex Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Hackspett U21's Alvin Brenner in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAFFIAN's goalie prevented a goal. Edvard Klemensson made a great header on FC Hackspett U21's corner, it was just that MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Ove Håning got free with Aron Dahlbom in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Ove Håning. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Wassberg was the one to do the kick off. Well-Well Wing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Jan-Ove Håning managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hackspett U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Håning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Ove Håning took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvin Brenner during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Brenner to maneuver through the defense. MAFFIAN's Torgny Mogren was substituted for Thomas Wassberg. Alvin Brenner hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Matías Giménez made a precise shot to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Jan-Ove Håning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Jan-Ove Håning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aron Dahlbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The FC Hackspett U21 fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when FC Hackspett U21's Jan-Ove Håning looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alf Säfström hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Håning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Aron Dahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the MAFFIAN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Hackspett U21.
