Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bill Fitzpatrick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Carl Carlsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute of the match, Zebastian Palmkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carl Carlsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Carl Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Palmkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Palmkvist came free, but Carl Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Palmkvist in the 71st minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Carl Carlsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of DFP booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Di Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Zebastian Palmkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebastian Palmkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carl Carlsson having to make a save. Carl Carlsson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Darin Bozduganov sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Zebastian Palmkvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carl Carlsson. That made the score 0-6 in the 93 minute of play. DFP's Carl Carlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save DFP from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded FC NILS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DFP.
