Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Freddie Stenberg started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Cam Bahč cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bengt-Åke Kleen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt-Åke Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cam Bahč, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Österlund hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Freddie Stenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Uter, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Kurt Ekberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orvar Svanberg went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, IFK Gladdarna's Martin Sundin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Karl-Johan Rang kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, IFK Gladdarna's Cam Bahč made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Åke Kleen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the game, Doffes Damer's Dag Norberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kurt Ekberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A hard shot 34 in the game by Orvar Svanberg from a close distance when the talented Kurt Ekberg managed to make a qualified save. IFK Gladdarna's players were relieved. 35 minutes into the game, Martin Sundin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bengt-Åke Kleen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bengt-Åke Kleen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Stenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Martin Sundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cam Bahč had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claude Makélélé kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half IFK Gladdarna were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orvar Svanberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt-Åke Kleen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Snorre Snabb went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 54th match minute, IFK Gladdarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Sundin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Sundin got free with Bengt-Åke Kleen in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurt Ekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Svanberg in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Persson in the 65th minute of play forced IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Kurt Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Svanberg came free, but Kurt Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claude Makélélé was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 70 played minutes IFK Gladdarna got a freekick which was hit by Claude Makélélé. In the 71st minute of the match Orvar Svanberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kurt Ekberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute Snorre Snabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Doffes Damer were awarded a corner. Orvar Svanberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Doffes Damer's corner Orvar Svanberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kurt Ekberg quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddie Stenberg in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Åke Kleen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, IFK Gladdarna's Freddie Stenberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Kurt Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Svanberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as IFK Gladdarna's Martin Sundin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt-Åke Kleen. That made the score 2-6 after 91 minutes of play. Kurt Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Svanberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Doffes Damer fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. IFK Gladdarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
