Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Tiberiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Niculae Andronescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Taşcău in the 5th minute of the match. FC Ruscova's attentive Iosif Filipoiu managed to snatch the ball when Vasile Chira made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Maxim Hâjdău got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Delphine Stars's Emanuel Tiberiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niculae Andronescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Tiberiu in the 31st minute of play forced FC Ruscova's goalkeeper Niculae Andronescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Aurelian Bărcăuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcu Loghin came out of the goal and Aurelian Bărcăuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anton Țepeneag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Vărzaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emanuel Tiberiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Andronescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Tiberiu ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Ruscova booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Mahonea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anton Țepeneag came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Ruscova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Țepeneag couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Țepeneag was the one to do the kick off. Andrei Grozăvescu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mugur Gorcea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delphine Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Gorcea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Andronescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Nenciu charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Nenciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Delphine Stars getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Denis Nenciu hit a great ball. FC Ruscova's Niculae Andronescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Tiberiu in the 70th minute of play. Maxim Hâjdău kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Delphine Stars's Costică Vărzaru got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Mugur Gorcea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delphine Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugur Gorcea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Andronescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Costică Vărzaru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niculae Andronescu, 0-2. Delphine Stars were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Ruscova's much stronger midfield.
