It was Leontin Tudorică who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Gyepüpataka getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. David Crețu hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Ovidiu Minteuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gyepüpataka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC PIETROSUL -MM- the free kick. After 12 played minutes Gyepüpataka got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Minteuan. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Tâbârnă got free with Sándor Bíró in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 16 in the game by David Tâbârnă from a close distance when the talented Sándor Bíró managed to make a qualified save. Gyepüpataka's players were relieved. Sándor Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Hâncu in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Sándor Bíró managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Doru Tarcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Crețu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. David Tâbârnă in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sándor Bíró, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Felix Chițu charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Chițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Gyepüpataka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Iorgu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasile Hâncu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sándor Bíró saved Gyepüpataka from getting behind. Gyepüpataka's Sándor Bíró proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Gyepüpataka from getting a goal against them. Vasile Hâncu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sándor Bíró tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doru Tarcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Iorgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihail Iorgu to make the kick off. David Tâbârnă took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sándor Bíró. Sándor Bíró dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sándor Bíró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Bran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Bogdan Ştercă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Bíró saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Octav Martinaș put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sándor Bíró. The FC PIETROSUL -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sándor Bíró took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Martinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Octav Martinaș made a precise shot to the right of Sándor Bíró. Gyepüpataka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Sándor Bíró showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Martinaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gyepüpataka players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
