Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cédric Payen made the kick off which started today's match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionică Şendrea in the 4th minute of play. Denis Ghee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalo Camara in the 7th minute of play. If Ionică Şendrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dudu Georgescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denis Ghee came out and tried to block the shot, but Dudu Georgescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes, Manuel Burdujan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stiinta-Univ. and the Minerul Baita -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Burdujan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Manuel Aluncai kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cédric Payen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denis Ghee. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Sergiu Cobâlcescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matei Onaca's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Burdujan in the 27th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Sergiu Cobâlcescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 28th minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Denis Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Burdujan. 39 minutes into the match, Cédric Payen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Ghee. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cédric Payen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ionică Şendrea hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Minerul Baita -MM-'s zone, Mihail Juverdeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Cobâlcescu came out of the goal and Mihail Juverdeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s Manuel Burdujan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Matei Onaca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Onaca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Cobâlcescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cédric Payen in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Ghee saved Stiinta-Univ. from getting behind. Sergiu Cobâlcescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Burdujan in the 57th minute. After 60 minutes of play Stiinta-Univ.'s Manuel Burdujan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Burdujan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Ionică Şendrea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Ghee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Pânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cazimir Pânzaru hit a great ball. The supporters of Minerul Baita -MM- booed when Stiinta-Univ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Pânzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Ghee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cédric Payen went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Matei Onaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionică Şendrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ghee having to interfere. Denis Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Şendrea in the 92nd minute of the match. Vintilă Puișoru's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vintilă Puișoru helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee ended the match the Minerul Baita -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
