Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Matei Onaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dumitru Nedelciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes of play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Mihail Juverdeanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dumitru Nedelciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alexandru Anton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Matei Onaca notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Liverpool YnWa's Dumitru Nedelciu. Dumitru Nedelciu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dumitru Nedelciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Băieșu in the 13th minute of play. Emanuel Băieșu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumitru Nedelciu having to interfere. Remus Anghelescu charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remus Anghelescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Remus Anghelescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dumitru Nedelciu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Stiinta-Univ.'s Emanuel Băieșu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Băieșu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Dumitru Nedelciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Onaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, FC Liverpool YnWa's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Juverdeanu came free, but Dumitru Nedelciu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes FC Liverpool YnWa got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Groșan. Dumitru Nedelciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Onaca, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to FC Liverpool YnWa getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leonard Groșan hit a great ball. The FC Liverpool YnWa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stiinta-Univ. were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Hulubei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Burdujan got free with Dumitru Nedelciu in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Stiinta-Univ.'s Dumitru Nedelciu threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mihail Juverdeanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Matei Onaca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Matei Onaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Nedelciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Liverpool YnWa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mircea Creangă was slow to take the kick. During this time Stiinta-Univ.'s players had a chance to rest. Dumitru Nedelciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Onaca in the 96th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Onaca in the 98th minute of play forced FC Liverpool YnWa's goalkeeper Dumitru Nedelciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stiinta-Univ.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
