Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ovidiu Zorlescu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Soca booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Dragalina didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remus Manciulea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Soca's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Vlăsiu came free, but Remus Manciulea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Nechifor took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remus Manciulea. Remus Manciulea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Costin Iorgu might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Manciulea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costin Iorgu ran back to his position shaking his head. Remus Manciulea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Vlăsiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Nichifor Vergulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remus Manciulea. Soca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nichifor Vergulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Remus Manciulea came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Gheorghe Vlăsiu. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Vlăsiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Nechifor in the 40th minute of play forced Soca's goalkeeper Remus Manciulea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Manciulea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Iorgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Baicu in the 44th minute of play. Remus Manciulea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augustin Nechifor went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

Soca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Augustin Nechifor scored to the left of an out of position Remus Manciulea, making the score, 0-11. In the 59th minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's Gheorghe Vlăsiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Steaua Pildesti's Nichifor Vergulescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Remus Manciulea. That made the score 0-13 after 63 minutes of play. After 65 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Nechifor. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Costin Iorgu took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Remus Manciulea to make any attempt to save it. Nichifor Vergulescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Manciulea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Vergulescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Costin Iorgu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remus Manciulea, 0-15. In the 78th minute, Petrică Udubaşa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Soca's zone, Costin Iorgu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Manciulea came out of the goal and Costin Iorgu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
