The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ciprian Barboni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Lăzărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Gavril Neicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Luck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 the free kick. Gavril Neicu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Remus Mihăileanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Todoran having to make a save. Adam Todoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Ţipirig, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match FC Luck got a corner. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gavril Neicu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Luck's Gavril Neicu to fire away a dangerous shot which Adam Todoran despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Gheondea came free, but Ciprian Barboni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Dorel Bojonca got a free kick in the 21st minute. The long shot by Gavril Neicu in the 22nd minute really tested Adam Todoran's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gelu Istrate hit a great ball. Narcis Ţipirig had several of the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Adam Todoran as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of FC Luck booed when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Petruescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciprian Barboni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Lăzărescu in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Comăneci didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Narcis Ţipirig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narcis Ţipirig in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adam Todoran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Gelu Istrate got a free kick in the 51st minute. When FC Luck's Narcis Ţipirig in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalkeeper Adam Todoran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When FC Luck's Narcis Ţipirig in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Narcis Ţipirig managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Luck's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Ţipirig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Todoran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Narcis Ţipirig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Todoran was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Ţipirig in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Todoran saved ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 from getting behind. FC Luck's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
