After a rather tough play, Secueni's Constantin Mironescu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Drăghincescu came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 9th minute of play forced Secueni's goalkeeper Adrian Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Trapcea in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Augustin Gorjanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Vătăşel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Cristinel Trapcea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Adrian Vătăşel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrian Vătăşel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Trapcea, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Secueni's Tudor Bacalu got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Iustinian Drăghincescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GURZUN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustinian Drăghincescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 27th minute of play. Adrian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Trapcea in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Augustin Gorjanu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel. Adrian Vătăşel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Vătăşel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 34th minute of play. Adrian Vătăşel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Drăghincescu's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Cristinel Trapcea came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Ifrim took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Vătăşel. Adrian Vătăşel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iustinian Drăghincescu made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Anghelescu came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Cristinel Trapcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Secueni's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Drăghincescu came free, but Adrian Vătăşel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Vătăşel made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Cristinel Trapcea sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Augustin Gorjanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Vătăşel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrică Stere in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Gică Oros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC GURZUN and the Secueni players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gică Oros hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Costin Ghiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Trapcea in the 78th minute of play forced Secueni's goalkeeper Adrian Vătăşel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Constantin Mironescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Caragea. Costin Ghiță was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Secueni's Adrian Vătăşel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 88th minute of play. Iustinian Drăghincescu had several of the Secueni's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Adrian Vătăşel as he didn't even see the shot coming. With 94 minutes on the clock, Augustin Ianculescu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 99th minute, Costin Ghiță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded FC GURZUN left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Secueni.
