Matei Crețu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavel Codin went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Matei Crețu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavel Codin in the 11th minute. Matei Crețu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Șerban Milea sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the game, Panait Tătaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB 09 the free kick. A collision led to PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Panait Tătaru hit a great ball. BVB 09's Francisc Ionete got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Minteuan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Blaj's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Pavel Codin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Matei Crețu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Miniș, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. BVB 09's Matei Crețu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Miniș in the 31st minute of play. Francisc Ionete's late challenge caught a PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Ionete helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BVB 09 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Francisc Ionete hit a great ball. The corner ended in Stelian Bobe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BVB 09's Matei Crețu did a great save. Șerban Milea's late challenge caught a BVB 09's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Milea helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Milea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Șerban Milea took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Crețu. Matei Crețu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisc Ionete made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Milea came free, but Matei Crețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's Pavel Codin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Crețu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Stelian Bobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Crețu having to interfere. Șerban Milea took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matei Crețu. Matei Crețu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Pavel Codin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Codin came free, but Matei Crețu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicu Miniș to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Pavel Codin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
