Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leontin Medrea in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Arghirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristide Răduț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, FC TraLaLa's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Enceanu came free, but Aristide Răduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Răduț made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Nicu Steriopol sent off a good shot on target. When Gavril Ionete fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpathian Wolves's protests and gave Gavril Ionete a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC TraLaLa's zone, Valer Barbăroșie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Răduț came out of the goal and Valer Barbăroșie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Sever Piţurcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Anton Macovei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Aristide Răduț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicu Enceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Costin Mocanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC TraLaLa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Mocanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicodim Arghirescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Mocanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Leontin Medrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nicodim Arghirescu made a huge save. Carpathian Wolves's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Leontin Medrea scored to the left of an out of position Nicodim Arghirescu, making the score, 0-1. In the 65th minute Paul Romeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when FC TraLaLa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Macovei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicodim Arghirescu was a little too slow when Paul Romeo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-2. Nicodim Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC TraLaLa's Emanuel Pușcariu. But to his dismay, Emanuel Pușcariu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Emanuel Pușcariu fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC TraLaLa's protests and gave Emanuel Pușcariu a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Pușcariu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Lucian Găman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicodim Arghirescu. Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC TraLaLa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
