Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nae Bouleanu made the kick off which started today's match. Teodor Oneț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Mădălin Buzgar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Potra in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Ghionescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Andrei Vârjean fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Vlad Buhuș hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Jivulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Buzgar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Oneț in the 13th minute of play. Mădălin Buzgar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Potra, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mădălin Buzgar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Potra in the 17th minute of the match. Corneliu Druga struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mugurel Răduț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Druga in the 20th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Mugurel Răduț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Matei Pescaru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mădălin Buzgar. Matei Pescaru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Andrei Vârjean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alex Potra sped through FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mădălin Buzgar. 33 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Potra came free, but Mădălin Buzgar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Corneliu Druga fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's protests and gave Corneliu Druga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Corneliu Druga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mugurel Răduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Cândea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teodor Oneț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Ghionescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Buzgar was a little too slow when Alex Potra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Potra made a kick off. Sandu Cândea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Mugurel Răduț made a huge save. Corneliu Druga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mugurel Răduț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Mugurel Răduț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Cândea. In the 65th minute, Andrei Vârjean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 69th minute, Vlad Buhuș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Teodor Oneț shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mădălin Buzgar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fotbal Club Vaslui reached it. In the 71st match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víglundur von der Schulenburg to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes of play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Matei Pescaru made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mădălin Buzgar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Sandu Cândea notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț. Mugurel Răduț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Vlad Buhuș got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Teodor Oneț shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mădălin Buzgar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fotbal Club Vaslui reached it. There was no doubt that Fotbal Club Vaslui were the better team. Fotbal Club Vaslui's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
